Breathe Clean Air Patient Conference 2025

On Thursday 23 January 2025, we will explore the link between air pollution, climate change and lung health at the Breathe Clean Air patient conference. Open to anyone with an interest in the environment and public health, the event will feature expert and patient speakers who will discuss the latest research on air pollution and climate change and share their experiences.
Topics that will be covered in the session include:
- Air quality within cities and the workplace
- How air pollution can affect the lung health of children and recent data around this
- Understanding the actions cities can take to improve air quality and how we can raise awareness by getting involved in campaigns
Mark Nieuwenhuijsen, Head of the Climate, Air Pollution, Nature and Urban Health Programme at ISGlobal and Work Package Leader in UBDPolicy, will be one of the participating speakers.
