A new briefing from the EU-funded UBDPolicy project highlights the key city networks active in the EU and examines how the new EU Agenda for Cities aims to strengthen collaboration between urban, national, and EU levels.

In recent years, European city authorities have adopted environmental and climate policies to improve urban conditions and liveability in cities. We also teamed up with other city decision makers to address common challenges. This is especially important as, currently, 75% of Europe’s population lives in cities, which are particularly at risk because of climate change.

This policy brief shows local authorities where to find good practice examples and provides them with policy recommendations to support them in improving health in their cities and communities. Read the full briefing in EN, BG, NL, ES, FR and PL.
