Workshop: Exposure-Response Estimation for HIA Applications: Evidence, Challenges and Future Directions

Over these two sessions, we specifically aim to hear, share, and discuss recent developments, ongoing challenges and future directions centred around exposure-response functions and their use in health impact assessments.

We will cover multiple environmental exposure pathways including air pollution, noise, green and blue spaces, heat, and physical activity, and discuss various ongoing methodological challenges (such as effect modifications and multi-correlated exposures). These discussions will inform ongoing health impact assessments within UBD-Policy and beyond.
